Giovanni Daffara joins Parma from Juventus for €6 million with 10% resale clause
Juventus have completed the permanent transfer of 2004‑born goalkeeper Giovanni Daffara to Serie A side Parma. The deal is reported to be worth about €6 million, and Juventus will retain a 10 % stake in any future resale of the player. Daffara, who impressed on loan at Avellino, signed a five‑year contract with Parma, giving the club a promising young custodian for the upcoming season.
The move was confirmed after Juventus exercised a counter‑option on Daffara and Parma outbid Genoa, which had also shown interest as part of a broader Juventus‑Genoa negotiation involving other players. The transfer is separate from the Juventus‑Genoa deal concerning Jeff Ekhator. As Fabrizio Romano reported, “Il Parma ha chiuso per il giovane portiere Giovanni Daffara dalla Juventus: accordo totale. 6 milioni di euro e 10 % sulla rivendita ai bianconeri.”
