Giovanni Parini ordained deacon at Milan Cathedral

Giovanni Parini was ordained a deacon at the Milan Cathedral on October 3 by Archbishop Mario Delpini. Parini is one of eleven candidates from the Ambrosian Diocese among a total of 17 new deacons ordained during the ceremony, which included six from the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions (PIME).

The new group of deacons features a diverse range of professional backgrounds, including engineers, physicists, and medical students, with an average age of 31. Parini, who is preparing for priestly ordination scheduled for June 12, 2027, has been assigned to the San Pietro da Verona pastoral community in Seveso to begin his diaconal service.
