Giovanni Reyna finds form at Racing Strasbourg

American midfielder Giovanni Reyna appears to be revitalizing his career following a move to Racing Strasbourg in France. After struggling with injuries and inconsistent playing time at Borussia Dortmund and a difficult tenure at Borussia Mönchengladbach, the 23-year-old has established himself as a key player in Strasbourg’s 4-3-3 formation under coach Hugo Oliveira.

Reyna has started in four of his first five Ligue 1 matches, recently scoring his first goal for the club in a 6-2 victory against Troyes. This resurgence extends to his international career, where he has recently maintained a streak of consecutive starts for the United States national team.
