Giovanni Sacripante named general director of Veronafiere

Giovanni Sacripante has been appointed general director of Veronafiere Spa, the Verona‑based trade‑fair operator. The board approved the appointment and Sacripante will assume the role in September, succeeding Adolfo Rebughini.

Sacripante previously served as Veronafiere’s commercial director from 2010‑12, during which the group’s EBITDA rose 20 % and market share reached 16.6 %, and the company began international expansion with acquisitions in Brazil. He brings experience from senior positions in multinational consumer‑goods firms, the Expo Milano 2015 project and the Italian Football Federation (FIGC). His mandate includes delivering the new industrial plan “ONE Veronafiere 2024‑2026”, emphasizing innovation, digital services and further international market growth. President Federico Bricolo said Sacripante “knows the sector and adds expertise in innovation and international vision”.
