German schlager star Giovanni Zarrella revealed in the "Hotel Matze" podcast that he lived a double life after the breakup of the band BroʼSis in 2006, misleading his wife Jana Ina about his daily activities. He described a period of self‑doubt, unemployment and a sense of being torn apart, which culminated in a personal crisis until the birth of his son in 2008 helped him regain stability.

Zarrella also spoke about his family, confirming that he and Jana Ina have two children: son Gabriel Bruno and a daughter whose name has not been disclosed.
