Giovanni Zarrella announces new album produced by Bob Rock

German singer and television host Giovanni Zarrella has announced his new studio album, titled ‘My Italian Songbook’. The project is described as a deeply personal work inspired by his audience's emotional connections during live performances.

The album was recorded in Vancouver, Canada, with renowned rock producer Bob Rock, known for his work with Metallica and Bon Jovi. Zarrella also fulfilled a long-standing personal promise made in 2007 by filming music videos in various locations across New York.

In a separate personal reflection shared via the ‘Hotel Matze’ podcast, Zarrella discussed a difficult period following the dissolution of the group Bro’Sis in 2006. He revealed that he struggled with identity and unemployment, leading him to lead a ‘double life’ where he misled his wife, Jana Ina, about his daily activities to hide his professional uncertainty. He noted that the birth of his son in 2008 served as a turning point that helped him regain stability.
