Giovanni Zarrella criticized by ex‑Bro'Sis member and appears with daughter at concert
Former Bro'Sis singer Faiz Mangat publicly criticized Giovanni Zarrella in the "Rebellcomedy" podcast, saying the group “had no German” and disparaging Zarrella’s early vocal ability. Mangat called Zarrella “the one who sang for five cents” and suggested his role was mainly to look good for the girls, while noting that today Zarrella hosts the popular ZDF programme "Die Giovanni Zarrella Show".
Separately, Zarrella shared an Instagram photo showing himself with his eight‑year‑old daughter at a sold‑out concert in Cologne. He wrote, "Bucket‑List: With my princess go to a Billie‑Eilish concert," highlighting his wish to give his children a better life than his own upbringing and to enjoy family moments away from the usual publicity.
These two pieces illustrate both criticism from a former bandmate and a personal family moment that Zarrella has chosen to publicise.
