In a separate podcast appearance, Zarrella opened up about a difficult period following the 2006 breakup of the band Bro'Sis. He described how he fell into a personal crisis, told his wife Jana Ina that he was heading to a recording studio while actually taking short walks, and lived what he called a "double life" to appear reliable. He said the birth of his son in 2008 helped him regain stability and that he now enjoys a harmonious family life.
