Giovanni Zarrella Show announces star‑studded lineup as host admits past double life

The ZDF‑produced summer edition of the "Giovanni Zarrella Show" will be recorded on 8 August 2026 at the Fernsehgarten in Mainz, with the broadcast scheduled for 29 August. The programme's line‑up has been expanded to include three high‑profile guests – Andrea Berg, Adam Lambert and Chris Norman – joining regular performers such as Vanessa Mai, Andreas Gabalier, Semino Rossi and others.

In a recent interview on the Hotel Matze podcast, Zarrella spoke openly about a personal crisis that followed the breakup of his former band BroʼSis. He described a period in which he led a "double life", lying to his wife Jana Ina about his daily activities. Zarrella recalled saying, "Ich wusste nicht, wer ich bin" and added that the deception "hat mich verrückt gemacht". He said the birth of his son in 2008 helped him turn the corner and rebuild his family life.
