Giovanni Zarrella Show celebrates fifth anniversary with outdoor summer party

The Giovanni Zarrella Show is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a special outdoor summer party on August 29, 2026. For this milestone, the production is moving to the ZDF Fernsehgarten grounds at Mainzer Lerchenberg, marking a departure from its traditional setting. The event will feature a mix of Schlager, pop, and international music, with approximately 4,700 people expected to attend the live festivities.

Since its premiere in September 2021, the show has hosted over 600 musical performances. In a review of the program's history, ZDF reported that Maite Kelly is the most frequent guest with 15 appearances. Other frequent performers include Kerstin Ott and Nino de Angelo, who have each appeared 11 times. The anniversary lineup includes various artists such as Kerstin Ott, Vanessa Mai, Andrea Berg, Semino Rossi, and others.

The broadcast will be available via the ZDF website and app until September 27, 2026.
