Giovanni Zarrella to host Austrian Kurier-ROMY awards

Singer and entertainer Giovanni Zarrella has been selected to host the Kurier-ROMY, Austria’s premier film and television awards, for the first time. The ceremony is scheduled for November 27 at Schloss Kaps in Kitzbühel and will be co-hosted by Fanny Stapf. The event will be broadcast on ORF 2.

Nominees for the awards include high-profile figures such as Heidi Klum, Sandra Hüller, and Elyas M'Barek, alongside musical acts like Die Toten Hosen and Melissa Naschenweng. The public can vote online in eight categories until October 13.

In addition to this hosting role, Zarrella continues his work with his own musical program, ‘Die Giovanni Zarrella Show’, on the German network ZDF. While no new episodes are scheduled for broadcast in September and October, the show remains a staple of his career alongside his expanding hosting duties.
