Giramundo brings multimedia Alice in Wonderland to Uberlândia

The Giramundo puppet theater group will present a multimedia production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ at the Teatro Municipal de Uberlândia on October 9, 10, and 11. The performance utilizes a variety of animation techniques, including string, rod, glove, and counter puppets, alongside masks, miniatures, automata, digital animations, and stop motion.

Directed by Marcos Malafaia, the production features musical direction by John Ulhoa and includes musical compositions and a performance by Fernanda Takai in the role of Alice. The show is designed for audiences of all ages and serves as the conclusion to the 2026 programming for the ‘Uberlândia na Rota das Culturas’ project, supported by the Minas Gerais State Culture Incentive Law.
