To address this market gap, the Dutch fashion brand Girav was founded in 2010. The brand specializes in long sizes for men, focusing on correct proportions to ensure clothing harmonizes with the wearer's silhouette. The company was inspired by founder Erik de Weerd, who, standing at 1.96 meters, struggled to find properly fitting clothing in standard sizes.
