Giresun Municipality discusses municipal waste incineration plant

Giresun Mayor Fuat Köse met with executives from Istanbul Environmental Management Industry and Trade Inc. (İSTAÇ) to discuss the planning of a municipal waste incineration plant. The meeting focused on preliminary feasibility studies, including the project's technical infrastructure, economic dimensions, and environmental impacts.

The initiative aims to establish long-term, sustainable waste management solutions for the city. Mayor Köse emphasized the importance of protecting environmental health and improving the quality of life for citizens, noting that current issues in Çavuşlu highlight the need for alternative waste management methods.
