Girl Scouts introduce new dog treats and allergy-friendly cookies

Girl Scouts of the USA has announced two new additions to its 2027 cookie lineup: Patch Pals and Sparkables. These products are designed to increase inclusivity for pets and individuals with food allergies.

Patch Pals, developed in partnership with the pet brand BARK, are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored treats for dogs. The cookies will feature four different designs inspired by Girl Scout patches.

Sparkables, created with Partake Foods, are the organization’s first allergy-friendly cookies. These crunchy oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips and sprinkles are produced in a facility designed to avoid the nine major food allergens, including wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, soy, sesame, fish, and shellfish. Sparkables are also noted to be vegan and gluten-free.

Both new offerings will be available exclusively through online ordering starting in January 2027. They will join classic flavors such as Thin Mints, Samoas, and Tagalongs.
