Girls' Generation's Yuri discusses life after leaving SM Entertainment

Kwon Yuri, a member of the group Girls' Generation, has shared reflections on her transition to becoming a free agent following the conclusion of her 19-year contract with SM Entertainment.

During an appearance on the web variety show “John Park Is Buying the Meal,” Yuri discussed the challenges of managing her own affairs, including legal meetings, tax invoices, and content planning. She noted that after years of being protected by a major agency, she is learning to navigate professional responsibilities independently. Yuri expressed a desire to embrace personal growth and trial-and-error, moving away from a previous pressure to maintain perfection.

In a separate exchange on the show, Yuri responded to a joke from Kian84 regarding her career status. When asked if anyone was attempting to sign her, Yuri humorously retorted that she has been “flooded with offers.” Additionally, she revealed that Girls' Generation is currently preparing for a comeback to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
