Ateez concert causes crowds in Istanbul as Girne announces festival

South Korean K-pop group Ateez drew massive crowds at the Yenikapı festival area in Istanbul during the 5th Istanbul Festival. The event caused significant congestion, with kilometers-long queues of fans and heavy vehicle traffic on surrounding roads as attendees arrived hours early to secure viewing spots.

In Cyprus, the Girne Municipality has announced the fourth annual Girne Arkın Group Fest26. Running from August 28 to October 11, the festival features a diverse lineup including Leman Sam, Yıldız Tilbe, and Yeni Türkü. The program also includes the 4th Müz-Ler Art Symposium, the 5th Gymnastics Show, and the 25th Girne International Zeytinlik Olive Festival, alongside a new addition called ‘Geek Fest’.
