Giro del Veneto cycling races to take place in Verona and Vicenza

The 89th edition of the Giro del Veneto and the second Veneto Women race are scheduled for Wednesday, October 14. The cycling competitions, part of the ‘Ride the Dreamland’ project led by former professional Filippo Pozzato and his team PP Sport Events, will begin in Verona and conclude in Vicenza at Monte Berico.

To facilitate the events and ensure public safety, the city of Verona has implemented several traffic and parking restrictions. On October 14, parking prohibitions will be in effect in various areas, including via dei Montecchi, via Pallone, and lungadige Capuleti. Transit restrictions will affect Piazza Bra, via degli Alpini, and corso Porta Nuova during specific morning and midday time slots.

Additional local measures in Verona include the suspension of the ZTL service for event-related vehicles, the relocation of the Piazza Bra taxi area to corso Porta Nuova, and the temporary suspension of tourist bus lines, the tourist train, and bike-sharing services between 8:00 and 13:30.
