Giro di Campania returns to professional cycling after 25 years

The professional Giro di Campania returns on Sunday, September 20, marking its first edition in 25 years. Now in its 64th edition, the race will cover 192.5 kilometers, starting at the Reggia di Caserta and concluding at Piazza Plebiscito in Naples.

The route traverses the provinces of Caserta, Benevento, Avellino, Salerno, and Naples, passing through Sannio, Irpinia, and the Amalfi Coast. A critical segment of the race is the 14-kilometer climb of Agerola, which features an average gradient of 6% and is located approximately 49 kilometers from the finish line. The ascent includes a pass by the monument dedicated to legendary cyclist Fausto Coppi.

The event is supported by the Campania Region and the Metropolitan City of Naples, with organization handled by Terenzi Sport Eventi.
