Giroc Harvest Festival raises funds for children's care center

The Harvest Festival in Giroc concluded with a significant charitable component aimed at supporting local social causes. Beyond the traditional celebrations of music and gastronomy, the event focused on raising funds for the construction of the ‘Sfânta Elena’ Center, a family-type home designed for children in foster care.

Local officials, including Giroc Mayor Dan Vîrtosu and Timiș County Council President Alfred Simonis, highlighted the community's solidarity. The initiative involved the Saint Dimitrie Orthodox Philanthropic Association and local volunteers, who helped transform the festival's proceeds and local harvests into support for the upcoming care center.
