Girona FM to broadcast all local Girona FC and basketball matches

Girona FM has announced that it will provide live radio coverage for all matches involving Girona FC, Bàsquet Girona, and Spar Girona during the 2026-2027 season. This marks the first time the municipal station will broadcast European basketball, covering both men’s and women’s competitions.

Broadcasting will begin fifteen minutes before kickoff and continue through post-match press conferences. Listeners can access the coverage via 92.7 FM or through streaming at gironafm.cat. The expansion of sports content is part of a broader effort by the station to increase local connectivity and community engagement.
