Girona to host final HERO UCI Marathon World Cup stage

The HERO UCI Cross-country Marathon World Cup 2026 season will conclude with its sixth and final stage, La Tramun Sea Otter Europe, scheduled for September 20, 2026, in Girona on the Costa Brava, Spain.

Integrated into the Sea Otter Europe Festival, the event is part of a circuit that has previously traveled through Spain, Italy, and Germany. The festival is a major cycling hub, attracting approximately 68,000 visitors, 6,000 participants, and over 500 industry brands annually.

The race features an 88-kilometer course with 2,400 meters of elevation gain. The route utilizes technical trails across the Catalan landscape, designed to test the physical endurance and technical riding skills of the athletes.
