Góis hosts XXXIII International Motorcycle Concentration
The XXXIII Góis International Motorcycle Concentration has commenced in the Portuguese village of Góis, running from Thursday, August 13, through Sunday, August 16. The event is expected to draw between 15,000 and 20,000 participants to the town, which has a permanent population of fewer than 2,000 residents.
Spanning approximately 17 hectares, the festival features over 150 exhibitors, camping areas, glamping, and various food and retail services. The event serves as a significant driver for local commerce, accommodation, and tourism. Musical performances include acts such as Xutos & Pontapés, The Gift, Karetus, Peste & Sida, and David Antunes & The Midnight Band.
Ricardo Pinto, president of the Góis Moto Clube, noted that improvements have been implemented regarding arrival and registration zones to address issues from previous years. Organizers have also emphasized increased security measures and reinforced emergency support services throughout the venue.
