Gisel Castillo receives honorary doctorate in Mexico

Dominican business strategist and mentor Gisel Castillo has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the Claustro Doctoral Honoris Causa. The distinction recognizes her professional excellence and contributions to social, professional, and cultural sectors.

The investiture ceremony took place at the AAPAUNAM Auditorium within the Ciudad Universitaria of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Castillo was one of nine personalities honored during the solemn event, which emphasized values such as leadership, service, and freedom.

The awarding institution, presided over by Dr. Georgina Palacios, maintains an international presence in 25 countries and is supported by 17 educational institutions across nations including Mexico, Cuba, Bolivia, Spain, and Argentina.
