Gisele Bündchen prioritizes family, rejecting 99% of work offers

Supermodel Gisele Bündchen has shared new insights into her life and career in a feature for i-D magazine’s “Mother Issue.” The 46-year-old Brazilian icon revealed that she now turns down 99 percent of professional opportunities to prioritize her family and personal well-being.

Bündchen, who lives in Florida with her husband Joaquim Valente, explained that her definition of success has shifted from the fame and high-intensity schedule of her early career to being present for her children. She noted that she no longer feels the need to prove anything to others and is focused on enjoying simple moments, such as attending her daughter's volleyball games or visiting the park with her son.

The supermodel, who was named the world's highest-paid model by Forbes for 12 consecutive years, also discussed the experience of welcoming her third child at age 44. She described motherhood at this stage of life as a “gift” that allows her to experience life with a different perspective and a sense of empowerment over her own choices.
