Gisele Shaw drops MLP Women’s Canadian Championship after NWA signing

Gisele Shaw has dropped the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship to Priscilla Kelly following her signing of an exclusive contract with the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA). Shaw, the inaugural champion, held the title for 455 days.

The title change occurred during the August 8th taping for MLP Mayhem, which aired recently. Reports indicate that Shaw was originally expected to hold the championship until October, but her new NWA agreement prohibits her from appearing on television for other promotions.

Shaw expressed her gratitude to Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling and owner Scott D’Amore via social media, thanking the staff and crew for the opportunities provided over her nine-year tenure. Shaw currently holds the NWA World Women’s TV Championship.
