GITEX AI Belgrade launches SEE 100 program for Southeast European startups

The GITEX AI Belgrade event has launched the SEE 100 program, an initiative to select the 100 most promising technology startups from Southeast Europe. The selected companies will participate in the GITEX AI Belgrade exhibition, which is scheduled to take place from May 25 to 27, 2027, as part of the specialized EXPO 2027 event.

The program is open to startups from Serbia, Romania, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Bulgaria, and North Macedonia. Applications are accepted until November 27. Selected startups will have the opportunity to present their solutions to international investors, corporate buyers, and technology companies, with more than 500 B2B meetings expected.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia is supporting the initiative by covering approximately 95 percent of participation costs for the 100 selected startups. Additionally, a special Fintech category has been introduced with support from AIK Banka. Participants may also apply for the Supernova Challenge, which includes a cash prize fund and business development support.
