GitLab shares surge following record quarterly revenue and customer growth

GitLab shares surged over 16 percent following a record-breaking second quarter for fiscal year 2027. The DevSecOps provider reported revenue of $286.3 million, a 21 percent year-on-year increase, surpassing internal forecasts. The company noted its strongest quarter for new customer orders in three years, with first-time orders more than doubling. Net annual recurring revenue (ARR) grew by 42 percent, driven largely by demand for AI-supported development and security infrastructure.

In other market news, Helmerich & Payne shares traded down 4.5 percent during mid-day trading. Despite the decline, several analysts have recently adjusted price targets for the company, with ratings ranging from 'hold' to 'overweight'.

HP Enterprise reported record third-quarter results for fiscal year 2025/26, with revenue rising 34 percent to $12.2 billion. This growth was fueled by high demand for AI inferencing and networking infrastructure. However, the stock saw a decline of nearly 5 percent following the announcement. Vivakor shares closed at $0.78, showing signs of potential stabilization ahead of a projected $270 million quarterly revenue guidance.
