Giuditta Franco releases new jazz album ‘Dust’

Giuditta Franco, an emerging voice in contemporary Italian jazz, has released her new album, ‘Dust’, in physical format on September 4, 2026. While the project was previously available digitally since July 31, the physical release is published by the Jam/Unjam label and distributed by Universal Music Italia.

The album explores the relationship between sound and word, treating the voice as an integral part of the ensemble rather than a solo element. The musical arrangements feature a quartet including Guglielmo Santimone on piano, Francesco Bordignon on double bass, and Edoardo Battaglia on drums, with guest appearances by Lorenzo Simoni on alto sax. The compositions blend written material with free improvisation, developed through a long-term creative collaboration with the musicians.
