Giulia Be and Conor Kennedy marry in Rio de Janeiro

Brazilian singer and songwriter Giulia Be married Conor Kennedy, the great-nephew of former U.S. President John F. Kennedy, in a multi-day celebration in Rio de Janeiro.

The religious ceremony took place on Saturday, October 10, at the historic Church of Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé. The festivities included a welcome dinner in Ipanema, a religious blessing at Christ the Redeemer, and a reception at the Instituto Brando Barbosa in the Botanical Garden. The event was attended by approximately 200 guests, including members of the Kennedy family and various Brazilian celebrities.

Conor Kennedy, 32, is the son of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and a graduate of Harvard and Georgetown. The couple, who reside in Los Angeles, had previously formalized their civil union in the United States in March. For the wedding, Giulia Be wore two distinct designs, collaborating with fashion houses Calvin Klein and Harris Reed.
