Giulia Gam settles taxi fare dispute in Rio de Janeiro

Brazilian actress Giulia Gam has settled a payment dispute with a taxi driver in Rio de Janeiro following public accusations of non-payment.

The conflict began on Tuesday when the driver, who offered a discounted rate of R$ 105 for a 30 km trip from Hotel Fasano to Estúdios Globo, alleged that Gam failed to complete the PIX transfer as promised. The driver stated that at the destination, the actress claimed her phone battery had died, preventing an immediate transaction.

Following public reports of the incident, Gam's representatives clarified that the delay was due to the actress's dead phone battery and a subsequent loss of the driver's payment information after she changed bags. The debt was settled on Friday.
