Giuliana Fenu appointed General Director of University of Turin
Giuliana Fenu has been appointed as the new General Director of the University of Turin, officially assuming the role on September 1, 2026. A lawyer by training, Fenu brings extensive administrative experience to the university, having worked with the Piedmont Region since 1996.
Her previous roles include significant positions at the Agenzia Piemonte Lavoro and serving as the Director of the Regional System Competitiveness Directorate, where she managed the European Regional Development Fund. Her expertise covers the administration of national and European funded programs, innovation, research, internationalization, and student rights.
University Rector Cristina Prandi expressed confidence in Fenu’s ability to contribute to the growth of the university and the broader metropolitan and Piedmontese systems. Prandi also acknowledged the institutional collaboration with the Piedmont Region and President Cirio in facilitating a smooth transition.
