Giunti Group appoints Emanuele Basile as nonfiction consultant

Giunti Group has announced the appointment of Emanuele Basile as a nonfiction consultant. The move comes ahead of the Frankfurt Book Fair and is intended to strengthen the group’s nonfiction team in line with its growth objectives.

Basile joins Giunti following a 24-year career at Mondadori, where he specialized in acquiring and developing international nonfiction titles. His previous portfolio includes notable works such as Prince Harry’s ‘Spare’, the Beatles’ ‘Get Back’, and Annie Jacobsen’s ‘Nuclear War: A Scenario’.

Luigi Belmonte, who is set to become Chief of Adult Publishing for the Giunti Group in March 2025, noted that the appointment is part of a broader strategy to bolster the company's editorial capabilities.
