Giuseppe Calabrese documentary to debut on Rai Scuola

The documentary film ‘L'inventore del Levante’ is set to debut on Rai Scuola and will later be available for streaming on RaiPlay. Directed by Giuseppe Rossi and produced by entrepreneur Giuseppe Bruno, the film chronicles the life of Giuseppe Calabrese, an inventor from Bari who revolutionized the industrial vehicle sector.

Starting from a small workshop in the post-war era, Calabrese developed the first dump truck, which he presented at the Fiera del Levante in 1947. This innovation significantly transformed construction site operations and led to the global export of his company's industrial vehicles. The documentary, produced by OMC Axles & Trailers, explores Calabrese's journey from humble beginnings to becoming a symbol of Italian entrepreneurial ingenuity during the country's economic boom.

Following its premiere on Rai Scuola, the film will be broadcast on Rai Italia, reaching Italian communities across North America, South America, Asia, Australia, and Africa.
