Giuseppe Conte to present new book at Campobasso event

Giuseppe Conte, the former Prime Minister of Italy and current leader of the Movimento 5 Stelle, is scheduled to appear in Campobasso on Friday, September 11, 2026. The event, titled ‘SaràTalk Live – Dialoghi sul futuro’, is part of the Festival del Sarà and will feature a public dialogue conducted by festival founder Antonello Barone.

The discussion will center on Conte’s latest book, ‘Una nuova primavera: La mia storia, i nostri valori, la sfida progressista per l’Italia’. The publication serves as both an autobiography and a political manifesto, tracing his journey from Southern Italy to the Chigi Palace, his leadership during the pandemic, and his current role leading the Movimento 5 Stelle.

The event at Parco De Filippo is intended to serve as a platform for Conte to discuss his political ambitions, including his efforts to lead a ‘campo largo’ (broad coalition) in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
