Giuseppe Di Bono appointed General Manager of Eridania Italia

Giuseppe Di Bono will assume the role of General Manager of Eridania Italia, effective October 1. He succeeds Alessio Bruschetta, who will transition to the position of CEO of the CristalCo Group and relocate to Paris.

Eridania Italia, a subsidiary of the French cooperative group Cristal Union, operates within the sugar and sweetener markets. Di Bono, 59, holds a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology and brings extensive experience from multinational companies including Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, and Fruttagel.

Di Bono has identified several key priorities for his tenure, including consolidating Eridania’s leadership in the Italian sugar market and accelerating growth in the sweetener sector. He also intends to oversee a 20 million euro investment plan aimed at enhancing industrial and logistical capacity, specifically through the strengthening of the Russi production hub.
