Giuseppe Graviano offers to testify on Dell’Utri and Berlusconi links

Mafia boss Giuseppe Graviano has expressed willingness to testify before magistrates in Caltanissetta regarding his relationships with former senator Marcello Dell’Utri and Silvio Berlusconi. The request was formalized by his lawyer, Antonio Sanvito, following news that prosecutors may seek to archive certain aspects of the investigation into the 1992 mafia bombings involving Dell’Utri.

Graviano, who is currently serving multiple life sentences under strict prison regime, is not a state witness and maintains his innocence regarding the bombings. However, his legal team argues that his information is of significant public interest, particularly concerning investigative leads that link Dell’Utri to Graviano.

In previous statements made in 2020, Graviano discussed alleged connections involving Berlusconi, including claims regarding investments made by his maternal grandfather in Northern Italian construction sites. The lawyer stated that Graviano is prepared to repeat previous declarations and provide further clarifications to ensure a complete reconstruction of the facts.
