Giuseppe Petrarca discusses child exploitation at Ischia Noir Festival

At the Ischia Noir Festival, author Giuseppe Petrarca discussed his novel ‘I bambini di nessuno’ (The Children of No One). During an interview with journalist Cristina Marra, Petrarca addressed the harrowing reality of child exploitation and trafficking in areas of extreme poverty.

Petrarca used the themes of his book to reflect on the global crisis of children suffering from war, violence, and poverty. He posed a central ethical question regarding the responsibility of society to protect and choose those in need, noting that the novel explores the difficult choices faced by those working in foster care and the profound responsibility of human connection.
