Giuseppe Valditara calls for dialogue with students in Taormina

Italian Minister of Public Education Giuseppe Valditara has urged young people to pursue dialogue and constructive collaboration rather than destruction to improve the Italian school system. Speaking at the Confindustria Education Open & Innovation Forum in Taormina, Valditara emphasized the importance of student representation.

He noted that, for the first time in Italian history, national school programs and guidelines have been developed with decisive contributions from elected student councils. Valditara also highlighted a recent four-day meeting in Cernobbio regarding artificial intelligence, which he described as the largest meeting ever organized on the subject, noting it was a direct result of discussions with student representatives regarding the future of education.
