Givearth and Haregake launch mystery-solving service to boost regional tourism

Givearth, Inc. and Haregake Co., Ltd. have announced a collaboration to provide a new experiential content package titled ‘Mystery Solving x Prally’. The service combines the location-based features of the entertainment app ‘Prally’ with Haregake’s expertise in designing real-world mystery-solving games.

Designed to support local governments and commercial facilities, the initiative aims to promote regional tourism and increase visitor stay duration. Unlike traditional digital stamp rallies, this service uses interactive gameplay to encourage participants to explore local areas deeply. The system allows for features such as receipt scanning at nearby shops to provide rewards, thereby driving local consumption.

A pilot program, ‘PROJECT:Prally’, was conducted in the Shimokitazawa area of Tokyo from July 24 to August 23, 2026. The free event engaged participants in a one-hour exploration of local landmarks, concluding at the ‘Mikan Shimokitazawa’ facility. The companies plan to expand this service nationwide, potentially integrating additional features like app-linked capsule toys.
