Givenchy unveils Spring-Summer 2027 collection by Sarah Burton

Sarah Burton has unveiled the Givenchy Spring-Summer 2027 collection, emphasizing precise simplicity, technical tailoring, and structural aesthetics. The collection aims to empower women through clothing designed to adapt to the wearer rather than forcing the body to conform to the garment.

Key design elements include the use of soft leather treated with the fluidity of fabric, asymmetrical tailoring, and power-shouldered jackets. Notable accessories include belts with integrated powder compacts hidden within their buckles. The runway presentation drew inspiration from the kinetic sculptures of Alexander Calder, featuring jersey gowns suspended from brass tubes to create a sense of floating and fluidity.

The collection balances masculine tailoring with feminine silhouettes, utilizing materials like leather, satin, and jersey. Burton’s vision focuses on creating a functional yet sophisticated wardrobe that provides a sense of strength and readiness for daily life.
