Giza Governor initiates inspections to improve sanitation and urban services

Giza Governor Ahmed al-Ansari has launched a series of field inspections and administrative meetings to improve public services, waste management, and urban order across several districts.

During a field tour in Dokki, Bulaq al-Dakrur, and South Giza, the Governor identified several areas with poor cleanliness and significant waste accumulation. In response to the inadequate service levels, al-Ansari dismissed the cleaning official for South Giza and several officials from the cleaning authority. He ordered large-scale campaigns to remove illegal waste collection points, scrap yards, and dilapidated vehicles, while also addressing street obstructions caused by food carts and tricycles.

Additionally, al-Ansari met with the head of the Omraneya district to review priority files, including building violations and the spatial variables system. He emphasized the need for continuous field presence to respond to citizen complaints and ensure that illegal construction is addressed immediately. The Governor also stressed the importance of maintaining road efficiency and ensuring that cleaning equipment is fully operational to improve the overall quality of life for residents.
