Giza Governor Raises Maximum Readiness for Secondary School Exams

Dr. Ahmed Al‑Ansari, governor of Egypt’s Giza Governorate, has raised the readiness level to its maximum across all sectors and executive bodies ahead of the upcoming secondary school examinations. The move aims to provide a safe, organized environment for students, with checks on lighting, ventilation, electrical wiring, water supply and fire‑extinguishing equipment. School officials have been ordered to ban street vendors, prohibit the use of loudspeakers and block vehicles and gatherings near exam venues, while increasing cleaning and waste removal. Temporary shelters will be set up at exam hall entrances and dedicated rest areas prepared for invigilators. The governorate’s main operations room and the national emergency‑network control centre will operate around the clock, coordinating with the education directorate and utility companies to respond immediately to any incidents.
