Valon Ramushi detained for double murder in Donji Livoč

Valon Ramushi has been ordered into one month of pretrial detention by the Basic Court in Gjilan following a double murder and illegal weapons possession charge. The incident occurred on October 9, 2026, in the village of Donji Livoč.

According to court documents, Ramushi allegedly shot and killed his wife, N. B., while she was sitting in the passenger seat of his vehicle. He then reportedly drove to the entrance of the village, where he confronted her relatives. Ramushi allegedly threatened the group, stating, “I lost my life because I killed my wife, I will kill you too,” before opening fire.

The shooting resulted in the death of the wife's brother, E. B., and left another individual, M. B., seriously wounded. A fourth person, R. B., narrowly escaped the attack. Following the killings, Ramushi reportedly drove the vehicle containing his wife's body to the emergency entrance of the Regional Hospital in Gjilan before surrendering to the police. Authorities also seized several firearms and ammunition during the investigation.
