Gjilan triple murder suspects remain at large one year later

One year has passed since the triple murder in the center of Gjilan, where father and son Selami and Edmond Hasani, well-known jewelers, were shot dead on August 10, 2025. Abedin Hoxha was also wounded during the incident.

The primary suspects, Mefail Shkodra and his two sons, Edonis and Engjëll Shkodra, remain at large. Despite intensive efforts by the Directorate for Investigation of Serious Crimes in Pristina and international cooperation through border alerts, the suspects have not been apprehended.

While authorities continue their search, Mefail Shkodra has remained active on social media, recently posting comments on Facebook regarding his other son.
