Gjon Bruka faces criminal complaint for threats against Kosovo Mufti

A criminal complaint has been filed with the Special Prosecution Office against Gjon Bruka following serious threats made against the Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava.

According to attorney Asdren Bytyqi, Bruka used TikTok to broadcast extremely aggressive and threatening language, including calls for the mass burning of Muslims across Kosovo, Albania, and Macedonia. Bytyqi stated that video evidence has been submitted to prosecutors showing Bruka categorizing Muslims as foreigners and calling for them to be burned with gasoline.

Security expert Arben Dashevci characterized Bruka’s rhetoric as abnormal, dangerous, and destabilizing to the security of Kosovo citizens, urging law enforcement and security institutions to intervene.
