Gjorce Petrov announces major educational infrastructure upgrades
Aleksandar Stojkoski, the Mayor of Gjorce Petrov, has announced a series of infrastructure developments focused on education and childcare within the municipality.
Key educational projects include the construction of 22 new classrooms across three schools: six at ‘Strasho Pinchur’ in Dame Gruev, eight at ‘Joakim Krchoski’ in Volkovo, and eight at ‘Dimitar Pop-Georgiev Berovski’ in Krom. These expansions aim to facilitate single-shift classes in all primary schools. Additionally, a new sports hall has been completed at the Krom school, and investments are being made in computer science equipment and classroom reconstruction.
Regarding childcare, two new energy-efficient kindergartens are under construction in Dexion and Stopanski Dvor. Each facility will have a capacity of 120 children. The Dexion site will be a modern facility, while the Stopanski Dvor project will include a new central kitchen and warehouse to serve the ‘Rosica’ public institution.
