GKM Grudziądz announces Fredrik Lindgren as new speedway leader

Bayersystem GKM Grudziądz has announced the signing of Swedish speedway rider Fredrik Lindgren to replace long-time leader Max Fricke. Lindgren, a regular participant in the Speedway Grand Prix, joins the club following his departure from Orlen Oil Motor Lublin.

The transfer comes after a challenging period for Lindgren, who struggled with injuries during the recent season, finishing with an average of 1.593 points per heat. The club aims to revitalize its squad and hopes that improvements to the track at Hallera 4 street, which include recent heavy machinery work to increase racing spectacle, will benefit Lindgren’s aggressive riding style.

Lindgren was introduced to fans through a creative social media campaign featuring a humorous video involving IKEA furniture assembly. The Grudziądz roster for the upcoming campaign also includes Michael Jepsen Jensen, Vadim Tarasienko, Maksym Drabik, and Kevin Małkiewicz, with young talent Beau Bailey also expected to play a significant role.
