GL events acquires MCO Congrès to boost health‑focused event portfolio

GL events, the Lyon‑based event group, completed the acquisition of Marseille‑based MCO Congrès on 28 July 2026, purchasing 100 % of the professional congress organiser. The deal reinforces GL events’ Health & Science vertical, adding an agency with 33 employees, €14 million in annual revenue and more than 35 years of experience organising over 1 500 scientific and medical conferences worldwide. MCO Congrès will retain its headquarters at Villa Gaby on Marseille’s Kennedy corniche, continuing to host medical and scientific meetings. President Olivier Ginon said the integration aims to develop synergies, expand professional congress activities and enhance the attractiveness of the Marseille region.
