Gladbeck authorities identify residency and fire safety violations

Authorities conducted a multi-agency inspection of a six-unit residential building in the Schultendorf district of Gladbeck on August 19. The operation involved the local citizens' office, immigration office, housing supervision, job center, municipal order service, and the Recklinghausen police.

During the inspection, officials identified seven violations of residency laws. Five individuals were issued registration certificates and instructed to report to the relevant immigration authorities. Two other individuals were placed in removal detention pending deportation following legal measures taken by the immigration office.

In addition to residency issues, the inspection uncovered fire safety violations. These findings have been forwarded to the building inspection authorities for further action.
